THE TRANSITIONS

Short workshops to support you during the cycles of change

You are not lost, you are just reorienting yourself towards your true path.

-Octavia Raheem

Workshop III:
The courageous path

- The new science of courage and how you can lead differently

When:
June 17, 2-5pm
Where:
Online, in person, or at your own time and pace through recording

“There is a way to lead and live in courage - It’s just no longer what it used to be.”

“Be loud” “Push through” “Conquer your fear” - the notions of courage perpetuated in our business world today promote but few things: stress, noise and loneliness.
While it might have been necessary to lead in this way, we have come too far to still believe that over-delivering, being the loudest in the room and constant doing are the way into a meaningful future.
When we try to create impact from a place of push, all we create is stress, aggression and loneliness. States which make it physically impossible to access any of our genius for true impact: presence, creativity and connection.

If you have read this far, I know you‘ve also had enough of these strangling notions of how to show up as a leader.
The root of the word courage is Latin cor, the heart. Courage isn’t being the loudest in the room, it’s piercing through the noise with what is true in your heart. There is a way to lead with this courage. And even more: There is a true need for leaders who do. And you are probably one of them.

This workshop brings together (rising) leaders to jointly explore the new science of courage, how we can lead and live with courage (= true to our heart) and how we can meet the fear this change brings about within us and those around us.

In this workshop you will:

  • Explore the new science of courage and how your nervous system/ body, mind and heart all play a role

  • Explore what courage means for you and your path - instead of what others tell you

  • Explore where you are ready to take courageous steps forward and what they are

  • Explore tools and practices on how to cultivate courage along your future path

  • Explore how you can meet the fear your courage brings about in yourself and those around you

  • Meet like-minded leaders who are also done with doing business the way we did, and who are ready to follow a courageous and authentic path

We have come too far to still believe that over-delivering, being the loudest in the room and constant doing are the way into a meaningful future.”

As surely as there is a voyage away, there is a journey home.

The Transitions

Short workshops to support you during the cycles of change

There is one common thread in the journeys of my clients: change.

Whether it's outside changes like transitioning into a new career or role, or inside changes like outgrowing behaviors or ways of living, or changes of our "self" in the world, like finding our unique voice as a leader. They are all transitions into lives full of courage and authenticity.

These transitions bring challenges requiring us to stretch and grow beyond our usual tools and knowledge.
In honor of these transitional spaces we  created "The Transitions" - Short workshops to support you during the cycles of change.

  • Combining science, self-inquiry, tools and practice

  • Supporting you to find the clarity, courage and authenticity you need to grow through your transition

  • First three taking place from April-June

  • Online, in person, or at your own time and pace through recording

  • Our "join with ease policy": All workshops can be attended separately or as a series - live or in the replay. You can join in the suggested order, or in a different one. Change happens in cycles and we all join at different stages. If you need a recommendation on where to start, reach out and we are happy to assist you.

What excites me most about these workshops is that we can bring together a community of people who want to challenge the status quo of how we lead and live our lives.

Program Overview

Workshop I: De-pressurize

The science of why we put pressure on ourselves, and practices for living differently

Where:
Recording available

What we will explore:

  • the science of why we put pressure on ourselves

  • what is good about putting pressure on yourself, and why you don't stop it

  • your personal pressure-triggers and symptoms map

  • science-backed tools to support yourself when pressure is high

  • a practice for integration and deeper insight

Join us for an exploration into pressure - why we need it, why we don't, and how we can live a life of meaning in a world full of pressure.

workshop II: Unblock yourself

“A workshop that feels like a big exhale"

Where:
Recording available

What if moving out of self hurting behaviors can be an experience of ease, trust and relief?
What if finding back to feeling good, doesn’t require discipline and push?

Overthinking, procrastinating, overeating, not taking time for ourselves - we all have those behavior loops, which we don’t know how to get out of. We usually try to stop them through pushing, being hard on ourselves, discipline,... Often without success. This workshop explores a different approach - moving out of being stuck, back on our path through building trust and ease. All based on the science of the nervous system.

In this workshop you will move:

  • From judgement to kindness: Explore how you hold yourself back („your loops“) and meet it with kindness

  • From self-blame to understanding: Understand the science of why you enter these loops (hint: your nervous system has a lot to do with it)

  • From stuck to trusting: Discover science-based and individual ways to “open” your loops, release the stuck potential and uncover the path forward (cognitive, emotional and embodied)

Workshop III: The courageous path

- The new science of courage and how you can lead differently

When:
June 17, 2-5pm
Where:
Online, in person, or at your own time and pace through recording

most of us think we are the only ones on these transitional journeys - and there is something empowering in finding out we couldn't be further from the truth.

Client Love

  • “As men we often don’t talk about these topics. I put a lot of pressure on myself in my work and private life - I want to maximize everything. The approaches offered in the workshop really helped me to stop seeing the pressure as “evil” or “external force”. I like the compassionate approach. The science of the nervous system was really helpful. I even listened to that part twice and will revisit it again, because I always realize something new. The workshop was a real gift and I can’t wait for the next one.”

  • “[The science of the nervous system] was my favorite part - having a bit of "theory" behind the experience [of pressure and stress] makes it just so much more explicit and easier to accept that the "experience" is "valid".”

  • “Nina somehow manages to create this environment and process that allows one to connect with one's intuition and that was so incredibly powerful - the craziest thing was that it opens up aspects which seem so crystal clear afterwards, but you would have never guessed that beforehand.”

  • “This journey today with you was magical. I have the feeling that I know a bit more about myself and where I belong. I feel more grounded, more balanced and like I can trust myself again”

  • “I have never felt as much growth through meditation and breath practices as with you.”

  • “I had a burnout and I wanted to learn how stress impacts me and how I can learn to deal with it. Nina is a wonderful being, so that her energy could be felt in the room. I trusted her fully, as she knows her stuff. Her calmness, as her humor were amazing during the session. Her approach was different in the way of combining science facts with "spiritual" way of handling pressure.”
